Stunning ninth-plate oval daguerreotype of a gorgeous young girl.  She has the most amazing long ringlets which perfectly compliment her large beautiful eyes.  She wears a lovely off-the-shoulder white dress with an interesting pattern visible in the center.  Her face and lips have been lightly tinted.  The plate is in excellent condition with a few small scattered tarnish spots visible in the scan.  The image is unsealed and housed in a beautiful red velvet case with very little wear.
