It states \u201cBoxes for 10 X 14 plates, each $15 cts. Net.\u201d John Dean &amp; Co., made the Adamantean plates, which were known for their superior durable finish and often marketed as &#8220;chocolate-tinted&#8221; or &#8220;egg-shell&#8221; plates.\u00a0<br>This extremely thin paper is dated at the bottom Oct. 23, 1877.
