In the center we see his studio decked out with numerous views of his photographs. In a brilliant advertising move he has posed a cute young boy with his black dog casually hanging outside the studio; possibly this is Barker\u2019s son or a young assistant. There is a large ad partially visible on the side of the building where we can read \u201cAt the Springs, of the City.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0On the left side of the photo we see examples of his outdoor views -many appear to be around the Springs but one is certainly of the famous Crescent Hotel. This is a great image that is in excellent minus condition just a hint light in tonal qualities on the right as seen. It is on a little heavier mount which is perfect for an image this size.
