Great mounted albumen photograph of a medical class of thirteen young men. They most likely attended Washington\/Jefferson College in Pennsylvania which was originally founded in the 1780\u2019s by three frontier clergymen. The students surround a table filled with test tubes and other experimental equipment along with some mortar and pestles. There is a pencil identification on the back that reads \u201cJohn W. Moore at Med School 1st<\/sup>\u00a0row right.\u201d The previous owner stated that Moore was later a resident of Bloomington, IL. The image measures 8\u201d x 10\u201d and has decent tones and contrast.\u00a0\u00a0There is some wear and spots as seen with two holes top and bottom where it hung on a wall in the past. By Rogers, Washington, PA. This was most likely Samuel Rogers who was listed in Washington in the 1880\u2019s. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
