Quarter-plate English of a couple. The gentleman seems quite confident while his wife definitely seems less self-assured. Both are fashionably dressed, he is pants that have thin horizontal stripes throughout and one large vertical stripe down the side of each leg. She wears a large patterned skirt with a dark cape and a fur stole, along with a large decorated bonnet accented with a huge bow at her throat. The plate is in excellent condition with a few very small spots of the black backing missing. The woman is slightly soft in focus and there is one extremely small dark spot under her eye. Housed in a full maroon leather case.
