Daguerreotype offerings include an identified Naval Officer holding his telescope, an outdoor scene, a unique daguerreian hair bracelet, a sharp Masonic image, along with identified pieces by Gurney, Brady and Barnard. Ambrotypes and tintypes include a superb half-plate river scene with working factory, an African American, a winter scene and occupationals, including a great ambrotype of a blacksmith. Cases include an all-mother-of-pearl and a beautiful cdv union case with a gold gilded center. Paper images of unique occupationals, dolls, animals, advertising, an early steam tractor, an image on cloth, a photomicrograph and a Chicago mission to Alaska round out the sale.
