Quirky cdv tintype of a cute young lad posed in front of one of the strangest backdrops we’ve seen. It appears to be either a bridge or part of a castle design but it extends lower on the right side as half the left side is just plain. Mom’s arm is extended from the side for support of the boy’s head. He is identified on the cover sleeve as” Geo. Walter, 3 ½ years.” His outfit is quite precious with knicker pants and a pair of extremely cool boots. The image is in excellent condition with great tones and contrast and some light tinting to his face. The sleeve has quite a bit of wear and spotting on the back.
