Scarce quarter-plate black union case, Berg 1-19, “Union and Constitution.” The case has some wear as seen with some chipping on the rails and corners. It has a geometric back that is common with this front design. There is a small area of a tear on the top of the velvet on the inside of the case as seen. The hinges and closure are strong and this would be a perfect complement to any civil war image!
