Great period E. & H. T Anthony & Co. price sheet for their Adamantean Ferrotype Plates, Black or Tinted.
We see all the different sizes offered, up to a 10”x 14” in Egg Sheel or Glossy. It states “Boxes for 10 X 14 plates, each $15 cts. Net.” John Dean & Co., made the Adamantean plates, which were known for their superior durable finish and often marketed as “chocolate-tinted” or “egg-shell” plates.
This extremely thin paper is dated at the bottom Oct. 23, 1877. It measures 3 3/8” x 5 ¾” and is in excellent minus condition with a hint of wear as seen.
