Hilarious hand tinted occupational cdv by the well- known German photographer Georges Sommer. While he worked all over Europe, Summer moved his studio to Naples in 1856. This comical scene shows three young boys eating pasta and drinking wine. The older master chef is seen with a serious expression and holding long noodles in the air. Some whole gutted fish are seen in the basket by the large funnel. The tinting illustrates a variety of colors from purple, wine, green and blue. The image has great tones and contrast with some wear as seen.
