Exciting large format cabinet card of a stylish young couple posed in front of their fireplace. We love the way the photographer has artificially enhanced the raging fire to create that cold English day. The gentleman of the house sits in his stylish wood chair on a fur rug holding a photo album while his lovely wife leans towards him with her hand on his chair. We love her modern hair style and her cool circular wire-rimmed glasses. We see a matching pair of egg shaped porcelain or ceramic vases and a daisy painted plate on the mantle above. This warmed toned image is in excellent minus condition with strong tones and contrast. With the mount it measures 7” x 10” and is identified to George F. Greenfield, Smethwick, England.
