The Crew of the Lotus

Exceptional cabinet card showing the crew of a steamer named Lotus as see on the man’s hat sitting on the left side and the man standing on the right. We also see the engineer next to him and the captain standing on the left side. While we haven’t located this vessel but we assume this was a paddleboat steamer on the Illinois River which runs through Havana. The image is in very good condition with nice tones and contrast.
