Cute close-up sixth-plate daguerreotype of a pudgy young girl posed in the photographer’s child’s chair. She wears an off-the-shoulder dress as she tightly grabs the arms of that chair. The image is in very good plus condition with nice tones and contrast. There are some small scratches at the bottom as seen. This surely happened during the process as the plate had old seals still attached.  We have resealed it with a new glass and it is housed in a full case.
