Stunning sixth-plate ambrotype of a gorgeous young woman posed as if the world is hers for the taking. From her expression we are certainly believers! She is tall and slender and wears a stunning gingham gown with billowing sleeves that hang slightly off her shoulders.  The photographer has complimented this dramatic portrait with a beautiful painted garden scene with a painted marble staircase. The plate has strong tones and contrast with some toning and some mat marks on the perimeter. It is housed in a full case.
