Treasured sixth-plate outdoor ambrotype of a father proudly posed with his sweet daughter sitting on his lap. She holds her precious porcelain doll for display while wearing a lovely white dress with some cool garland ruffle enhancements across the bottom on her skirt. Her sleeves and collar are sporting a similar design. Father and daughter are sitting in a partially enclosed structure on a built-in bench with a table for dining nearby. We can see a hint of the gardens behind on the right side. The sun is obviously shining as the bushy haired dad squints into the camera, although it hasn’t affected his daughter. The image is in very good condition with nice tones and contrast. It has a darker area at the top and a lighter version on the bottom left that are insignificant for us. There is also a light scratch on the right as seen. It is in a full leather case.
