Wonderful sixth-plate ambrotype of a tender moment between two young men.  We love how comfortable they are in either their friendship or possibly as a couple. The man on the right has his hand on his partner’s leg while the other man, in turn, has his arm around his shoulder. Both are meticulously dressed with the man on the right sporting a large bowtie while the man on the left wears a fabulous two-toned vest. The image has nice tones and contrast with some tint to their faces and lips. There are some spots as seen. At an angle there is a slight glare or cloudiness from the top lacquer coating. It is housed in a full case.
