Mesmerizing cdv tintype of what appears to be a street person possibly selling or collecting rags; sadly, this could easily also be all their earthly possessions. Their face shows the hardships of 19th century life. We assume this is a woman because of the dress but aren’t certain. The photographer has posed her in an appropriate street scene. The image is in very good condition with nice tones and contrast and some typical wear.
