Intriguing, possibly California occupational cdv tintype of a worker posed on a fascinating self-propelled bicycle contraption that is riding the fence line. This ingenious invention would make travel much faster over greater distances without using a horse but could be used as a power source. There is a building in the background with a partially visible sign that appears to read El Dorado. If anyone would have any information on this invention it would be appreciated. The image views well with nice tones and contrast. There is some wear as seen with some bends and a few dings. We doubt you’ll find another tintype like this one!
