Great ninth-plate tintype of a Civil War soldier who appears to be wearing a four-button sack coat. His stare is intimating and scary. We wouldn’t want to be in close battle with this guy, and we suspect he has seen a few already. The image is in very good condition with nice tones and contrast and some wear as seen. It is housed in a great full case with a cross style design.
