Interesting sixth-plate Civil War tintype of a standing soldier. Judging by his dress and the look on his face this image must have been captured in a tent in a cold location. His cartridge box is strapped to his side. The gold gilding has obscured the designs on his breast plate and belt buckle. The image is in very good condition with nice tones and contrast with some tinting to his face. It is housed in a full case.
