Great sixth-plate double sided leather case with a silver plate attached to the front which reads “Souvenir.” Souvenir in gold-gilding is also on the spine of the case. The paper insert on the backside of the case has the name A. Jewett Jr., who is possibly the case maker. The case is in very good condition with some leather rubs on the edge and corners as seen. There are no images so this would be perfect to house a special pair of sixth-plate daguerreotypes.
