Lot 54

Cool empty sixth-plate decorative pressed paper hard shelled case. It has gold gilding scroll work on the outside with a raised medallion center with a different design. It is a heavy lacquer coating which creates that hard shell appearance and feel. The case is in wonderful condition with a small underlay of pneumatic leather on the spine. There is no image, brass mat or preserver so it is waiting for that special image.
