Patriotic sixth-plate union case, “Eagle and Flag”, Berg 1-55 on the front cover. The back has a geometric design. The case is black in color with a nice gloss and beautiful relief. There are a couple of extremely small flea bites and one small hairline crack on the top back rail. The bottom and top rail of the back of the case show a hint of a slight warp but this is hardly noticed and it closes perfectly. There is no image or mat or preserver but this is a perfect case for that special Civil War soldier.
