Occupational cabinet cards showing the University Meat Market and a refrigerated train car, the Dairy Express. The meat market’s owner is posed in the doorway with his two butchers, and their delivery wagon is seen out front. It appears there is meat hanging in the window on the left. Three boys decided to join the fun and there is a handwritten ID on the back that reads “Chelers Meat Market in Wisconsin.” This bright image is in very good condition with nice tones and contrast. There is a stain on the left of the doorway as seen with a blue stain on the mount on the right. Unfortunately, the photographer didn’t look through his lens on the Dairy Express cabinet card because everything is blurry. There is a large barrel on the right that reads Peaches. This is a smaller format card in nice condition. These were purchased together so they are likely from the same Wisconsin town.
Opening bid $20
