Outstanding advertising CDV for the Photographic Artist, A. Cospey of Sudbury, a market town in Suffolk England. We see Cospey front and center at the top and his artistic weave of portraits is one of the most creative examples of this genre that we have seen. The top reads “Contributions Thankfully Received” and he continues to advertise “Portraits in Oil or Water Colour, Landscape Views, Stereoscopic, Slides and Every Description of Photographs.” The image is in excellent minus condition with strong tones and contrast. There is a slight curve to the mount and a tiny tear in the mount on the top right as seen.
