Exceptional cabinet card showing the crew of a steamer named Lotus as see on the hats of the man sitting on the left and another standing on the right. The engineer is next to him and the captain stands on the left side. We haven’t located this vessel, but we assume this was a paddleboat steamer on the Illinois River which runs through Havana. The image is in very good condition with nice tones and contrast. It is a little lighter as seen on the man’s face on the right side. By Clauser Bros., Havana, Ills.
