Rough & Tumble

Cool sixth-plate hand tinted ambrotype of a rough and tumble man. Wearing a dynamic voluminous white pinstriped work shirt he has a very aggressive look on his face. You certainly wouldn’t want to fight this man in a bar. He wears a great work hat that has some and added dimension in the structure under the brim and his shirt is accentuated with a lovely blue tie. The image is in very good condition with nice tones and contrast. He has some tinting to his face and hands. There is some loss and crazing in the black backing. It is housed in half of a case. $65
