Exquisite ninth-plate daguerreotype of a painting of a gorgeous young woman in profile. Seen in an ethereal downward pose her long stunning hair is perfectly structured in a tight bun. Her outfit while somewhat simple still has that heavenly quality. This is one of our all-time favorite painting daguerreotypes.  The daguerreotype is in lovely condition with some tarnish as seen which only adds to this dazzling plate. It has been resealed in a full leather case.
